The App Store, Play Store and Apple touch icons are always filled, because they can’t be transparent. Android’s adaptive icon uses the background colour as its back layer.

What’s in the ZIP
Each platform gets its own folder, laid out the way its build tools expect, plus a README with where each file goes.
iOS- An AppIcon.appiconset folder with Contents.json. Xcode 14 and later only need the single 1024×1024 icon and make the rest itself. Turn on “All iOS sizes” if your app still targets older Xcode. Every iOS icon is fully opaque, because the App Store rejects transparency.
Android- res/mipmap-* folders with ic_launcher, ic_launcher_round and an adaptive-icon foreground at every density, the adaptive-icon XML, a background colour resource and the 512×512 Play Store icon. Copy the res folder over your app’s app/src/main/res.
Web- favicon.ico, PNG favicons, an Apple touch icon, 192 and 512 icons, a maskable icon, a site.webmanifest and the head tags to paste into your pages.
macOS- An AppIcon.appiconset with every size from 16 to 1024. Unlike iOS, macOS doesn’t round the corners for you, so start from artwork that already has its shape and shadow.
Non-square images are centred and cropped. Padding shrinks the artwork inside every icon. Android adaptive and web maskable icons add their own extra margin so launchers can crop them to circles, squircles and teardrops without cutting off your art.
